Harry Potter, from books to movies
Harry Potter is a 7-volume fantasy literary saga written by J.K. Rowling. The books trace the adventures of a young wizard who discovers his identity, his past and his destiny.
The first volume, "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone", appeared in 1997. In a short time, the book became a success in England and the United States and then in the rest of the world. From then on, the release of each subsequent volume arouses enthusiasm among readers. Warner Bros, will adapt the 7 volumes in 8 films for the cinema and bring to life one of the most profitable cinematographic sagas. The novel series is still the best-selling of all time to this day.
The story is that of a young orphan, Harry Potter, who will discover the wizarding world and will live adventures alongside his friends, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger at the wizarding school, Hogwarts, ruled by the wizard Albus Dumbledore. The common thread of the saga brings to the fore Harry Potter's fight against Voldemort, the dark mage who murdered the young hero's parents and left him with a lightning-shaped scar on his forehead.
Fantastic Beasts Movies
The Fantastic Beasts film series is written by J.K. Rowling. Unlike the Harry Potter saga, Fantastic Beasts is not adapted from novels but from a guidebook of magical creatures. Set in the same universe as Harry Potter, the events take place long before those of the young wizard and relate the adventures of Newton Scamander and his fellow travelers, Tina Goldstein, Jacob Kowalski and Queenie Goldstein. They will have to face the threat of the dark mage, Gellert Grindelwald.
