My Godness! Holly Smoke! Gosh!
It was in the carefree spirit of the 50s that Raymond Macherot created Clifton, a colorful character and worthy defender of the royal crown, and endowed him with a vehicle of British charm, in perfect harmony with the country roads of Albion. The MG, which appeared in 1936, went through 6 successive versions over a period of twenty years, from the A-type to the F-type. Clifton's cherished model is the D version, the most famous of all, marketed in both England and the USA from 1950 onwards.
Let's take a closer look at the features of this beautiful English car. Its bodywork, with round headlights framing a high grille and fenders with running boards, recalls its pre-war origins. Thanks to a folding soft top, Clifton can fully appreciate both the rural and urban landscape of Puddington. And if he doesn't drive nonchalantly, with his elbow on the door, it's because the nervousness of the little car demands his full attention.
On the passenger seat, a confidential file can be seen, the contents of which will not be revealed.
At the rear, a luggage rack houses the essential accessory for cautious and hydrophobic gentlemen: it's well known that with Clifton, trouble is never far away!
