The Bluecoats Statue of Chesterfield & Blutch "Crossing the ford", size approx.56cm. Official product in limited edition by LMZ Collectibles.
As a tribute to Raoul Cauvin who recently passed away, and to his sense of hilarious lines, we offer you this splendid diorama. This one was made in collaboration with Willy Lambil. One can imagine that it would have delighted the late Salvérius so much the realism of the characters and the elements of decoration is admirable.
On the front, of course, we find Cornelius Chesterfield, the galloping sergeant, at the reins of an anonymous runaway, followed by a dubious Corporal Blutch riding Arabesque, a mare whose name translates so well the talent of the modeler to retranscribe a peaceful trot.
Impeccable clothes, from the boots to the kepi, complete harnessing, including the pack, the precision of the details is there. Likewise, the scenery is not lacking in finesse, with the grass, the rocks, the sand of the bank, the dead wood trunk, the foaming water and even the splashes.
Also, if a rude person, discovering your acquisition, takes the liberty of throwing an "oh, a two horsepower!", retort to the impudent that he has reason to be jealous because a diorama like this one, in all honesty, it's tunique!
This product is not a toy or product for children. It is a collectors item intended for adults only.
