Along with his many worn trophies, two phalarae adorned his chest, talismans of duels with more powerful demons. The veteran is one of the representative works of many hell paintings by dark artist Wayne Barlowe. It depicts a veteran demon soldier, a centurion, who is scarred all over and hung with all kinds of booty. The heart of his chest has been dug by the victors in the battle of rebellion in heaven, leaving a terrible black hole. His shield arm has also been removed in the battle in hell, However, these terrible wounds increased the veteran’s sense of vicissitudes.
