The Joker is one of the most recognizable villains in comic book and movie history. In 2008, Heath Ledger brought one of our favourite characters back to the big screen. His portrayal of the evil and sadistic clown prince of chaos was as gritty and realistic as we’d ever seen. Ledger’s Oscar-winning performance without doubt contributed to the movies’ critical and commercial success. Today, many consider The Dark Knight as the best superhero movie of all time. 

Head Sculpt

In the jail scene in The Dark Knight, Ledger stairs forward with a wry smile. At this moment we realise this isn’t the look of a defeated man. Our artists have worked hard to capture this facial expression, paying close attention to the sculpt and the smeared makeup. To bring the character to life, the Special Edition statue includes artificial hair that is painstakingly added one by one.

Body and Base

The Dark Knight Joker famously wears a tailored pinstripe suit with a green vest, necktie and hexagon shirt. Our artists have individually tailored outfits for each statue to make each piece movie accurate. No detail is spared, from the paint on his fingers and under his fingernails, to the scuffs on his shoes and the marks on the bench. We’ve done our best to make this worthy of your collection.
